Masterclass: Adopting Digital Social Care Records – Getting it Right the First Time
Date: Tuesday 26 October 2021
Digital social care records enable improvements in the safety and quality of care and enable better communication between adult social care and health settings. They free up time spent by care workers and managers on administrative tasks and make sure that everyone has the right information they need to deliver the best possible care.
The national support offer to the care sector will give care providers and NHS organisations guidance and support materials that sit alongside the recently launched accredited supplier list. This will include buyer guidance, model contracts and template specifications. There will also be monthly care provider masterclasses, run for care providers by care providers, the first of which will be held on the 28th September and will focus on Building the Case for Change.
NHSX will also be supporting nine Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) from across the country to deliver small-scale pilots of their own local support offer for care providers in this financial year. The learnings from these small-scale pilots will help inform their plans for supporting the care sector in future years.
