Are you good at bringing people together to work across organisational boundaries? Could you help deliver a high profile programme of support to adult social care providers across England?
The Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) is a free, online self-assessment for health and care providers to evaluate and improve their data and cyber security, enabling them to better manage risks and to share information with other health and care services with peace of mind. A new version of the DSPT for social care will launch in October 2020, along with a national programme of support for the sector. The Delivery Manager will be the key link between the Programme Board and the diverse range of organisations which will be promoting and delivering the programme locally and regionally.
As there are also subject matter experts supporting the programme, this is not a technical role. Instead, we need an organised person with a creative, solution-focused approach, and someone who can get things done by influence and negotiation, rather than by direct management control. Knowledge of the adult social care provider sector, and ideally established networks across it, would be an advantage.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a new way of doing things across the sector. For further details of the role, please see the job description and person specification. More details about the programme itself can be found in the Expressions of Interest guide that has been published for care sector organisations.
