Asking for help with our survey on data security

We’re urging social care providers to complete our survey to help inform us as we work with NHS Digital to make an updated version of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit.

The Data Security and Protection Toolkit is a free, online self-assessment tool that can help you demonstrate your compliance with data protection standards. All organisations that have access to NHS patient data and systems can use the toolkit to provide assurance that personal information is being handled correctly.

We want to hear your opinion as we’re developing a new version of the toolkit and want to make sure it is easier to understand. That’s why we’re asking for your feedback.

Our survey asks your views on a small section of questions from the toolkit, which might be the existing ones or the proposed new ones. It will help us gauge your reactions and provide us with feedback.

Please do help support us by filling in the survey as your feedback is invaluable in helping us make improvements.

The Institute of Public Care at Oxford Brookes University is carrying out the survey on our behalf and all answers will be kept confidential.

The survey closes on 7 August 2020 and we want as many of you as possible to have your say. You can complete the survey here.
